Ok, I've never installed it on Dreamhost, but here's a few pointers:

1. Tell us what system you are running.  Are you trying to install on
Debian Linux? We've done that a bunch of times and can provide fairly
good support. Are you installing on Windows Server 2008? We've not
done installs on those systems and support may be harder to get, but
we can definitely try.

2.  Do you have root/administrator access to the box you are
installing it on? It is necessary that you have that level of access
to my knowledge. Do you have command line access? Seeing a list of
running processes (task manager in windows/"ps -A" in linux etc) can
help here.

3. Which methods are the 4 different ones, how far did you get, which
worked better than others.

4. A few little other things need to get done as well - do you have
access to a/the DNS server. When you say "but I can never access zope,
or plone or anything." we need to know what you have tried. If it's
shared hosting, then localhost:8080 will never work :), but it still
should be accessible - it may just need a little tweaking to make it
happen.

5. You need to be much, much more descriptive in your reports. We
_cannot_ install for you, and we can't keep it up to date for you and
we can't even really hold your hand. BUT, we can give you pointers and
help you out in parts when you give uus verbose descriptions of what
you've done, what you are expecting to happen that isn't happening,
and, finally:

6. LOG files are your best friend. Get them running and read them.
Usually they have an error message which you can google and get the
answer straight away :)
