Ok, I think it's fixed. When we moved across a few things didn't
happen because they are obscure.

In this case, trac needs to be able to write to a dir (in this case
/var/www/.python-eggs) so that it can unpack the eggs on the fly.
Apache (www-data) needs write access to that dir as well.

so I created the dir and reloaded the page. Looks fine to me.
