 Anna> I think this ticket: http://plumi.org/ticket/153 currently
Anna> relates to (3) where the site owners are not involved in the
Anna> transaction between sellers and buyers.

yes, true. We might find out that 2 and 3 are actually the same from an
implementers point of view.

Anna> Would using PloneGetPaid enable the site-owners to take a cut
 Anna> during the transaction?

this functionally can be implemented

Anna> I think #72 was closed (invalid) as it was considered a

[skipping a lot of lines ...]

Anna> Actually I just renamed it "Fundraising".

ok, good catch

Anna> This ticket: http://plumi.org/ticket/74 it occurs to me may
Anna> actually be complicated in terms of running a video-sharing
Anna> site.. For example, as site-owners of EngageMedia.org for
Anna> example, we would not be able to give any guarantees to users
Anna> that the sellers would actually provide the goods,

Well, if the goods are "a membership" to some area of the Plumi site or
something like that, then I think it is straight forward.

Just think of e.g. YouTube and the added notion that you could only
download some videos if you buy them or if you could only watch some of
them if you have become a member (which e.g. includes a monthly fee).
There might be more use cases aside from those two obvious we have not
thought of yet ...

Anna> Of course we can re-configure these feature requests :) Would be
Anna> good to discuss the various use-cases some more.

certainly, as we go, we will find out about various use cases

Anna> We are going to try to release an alpha of Plumi
 Anna> 0.3 for Plone 3.x next week

great!

Anna> would you be interested in working on integration of GetPaid into
Anna> Plumi once this alpha is out?

I have already decided to do that. However, I am quite busy right now so
I will probably not start before April or so.

Anna> What would you need in terms of support/access from us if so?

Andrew was already so kind as to create a user account for me on trac.
Aside from that, things will develop as we go :-)
