 I checked this on a couple of drupal sites (with a wysiwyg editor and
 without) without issues:

 On wordpress.com blogs there's nothing we can do, as they support a few
 video providers and that's it. video and embed tags are not allowed and
 are stripped out on posts.:

 On other blogs that use the wordpress software, it appears that the editor
 strips off some parts of the code. The solution that is being given on the
 flowplayer and wordpress forums is to turn the visual editor off:
 http://static.flowplayer.org/forum/3/34373

 or use the wordpress flowplayer plugin:
 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/word-press-flow-player/
 (and copy the mp4 link that we expose in our embed code)
